Good for the conscience not for the noseMay 30, 2008 These are much rougher than any other tissue I've used. Pulling the first tissue inevitably results in pulling out a third of the tissues, then stuffing them back in, then they don't often automatically pull each other out as you use them.
The difference in enironmental impact vs. cost is negligible, so until they iron out these issues I recommend the standard options.

Still looking for a soft oneMay 26, 2008 OK, buying 100% recycled tissues was the right thing to do. But if you have a serious cold, this is not the soft tissue you want. My 10-year-old immediately registered a complaint.
The good news is they seem to be smaller tissues, so, you don't feel compelled to keep reusing them to use the whole tissue up.
And, of course, they are made of 100% recycled paper and I could not find any on the grocery store shelves.
At this point, I don't plan to reorder them when I run out. I'm looking for a softer choice.

Purchased for environmental factor more than anything else Apr 05, 2008 These tissues are not at the same 'comfort caliber' as kleenex, BUT they do the job, and were purchased for the environmental factor more than anything else. 100% recycled paper & they serve their purpose.

Do good to our planet & save many treesMar 16, 2008 If every household in the United States replaced just one box of virgin fiber facial tissues (175 sheets) with 100% recycled ones, we could save 163,000 trees...They aren't kleenex, but if so, why not get better faster & do good for the environment? You'll get used to the fact that the environment won't get pollute & your nose won't get toxic chemical to make it feel good. Use cream (good stuff) & get better! It feels good to use Seventh Generation, & you do good for the enviroment. Sign up for the re-order program, & you'll feel even better. At $1.42 a box, it's a bargain! Love you Amazon!

Feel good about the environment, not wiping your noseFeb 29, 2008 I bought the Seventh Generation tissues because I am trying to go completely green in my household and not use virgin trees for disposable paper products. So, while I feel good about that decision, these are just not Kleenex. The tissues are fairly rough and thin. They also are all connected, so it's sort of hard to get them out of the box.
